      The Green River Valley Museum, a nonprofit corporation, was formed to perpetuate and preserve the history and culture of the Green River Valley. Opening every June through October 15, 12-4 PM.
      Featured exhibits include: Prehistoric Indian Artifacts, Restored Homesteader Cabin, Pioneer Homesteading and Townsite Development, Early Ranching and Brands, Outdoor Ranch Equipment, Area Oil and Gas History and Historic Oil Field tools, Family-Operated Coal Mine History, Big Piney Examiner Presses, Campfire Girls Display, Oral Histories.
      Learn about the Buffalo Trap and see the old jail!!
      There is no admission charge, but donations are greatly appreciated.
      Special tours can be arranged by calling the museum at 307-276-5343 or emailing grvmuseum@gmail.com.
