Our Mission:

To create and foster a sustainable business climate in Sublette County.

A. Advancing Leadership and Workforce Development

​

A vehicle for business and education leaders to partner and develop a link between students at all levels and the workplace. With a variety of workshops and connections offered each year, the Sublette County Chamber is a business development and leadership entity. Members are immediately connected with other business leaders as well as potential customers, increasing their ability for business growth and success. The chamber also offers a leadership development program to sharpen the leadership capacity of the county.

B. Building Camaraderie Through Business Development


The chamber offers its members opportunities and resources to help them address individual day-to-day concerns and stay connected, educated and motivated to succeed. Improving our counties business climate, talent supply and quality of life are all paramount to economic development success.

C. Transforming Sublette County Through Economic Development


Focusing on creating jobs and strengthening our economy, Sublette Chamber leads economic development efforts that include assisting new businesses through the startup phase and helping existing businesses expand. The chamber also works to recruit new companies. Our economic development outreach strengthens employment opportunities and community vitality while also facilitating collaboration between business, government, and higher education entities.

D. Small Business Services


Provides services and resources to strengthen the small business community, including seminars, recognition, and promotion.

E. Organizational Improvement


Focusing on being the best organization we can be the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce will work to increase our overall effectiveness.

Staff

Kaddy Fyfe Shivers has been an Executive Director for over 20 years and brings over 25 years of experience in business management to her job at the Chamber of Commerce. Kaddy, her husband, and their youngest daughter moved to Sublette County in 2020 and purchased a home outside of Daniel. Family is very important to Kaddy and her husband. They have raised 6 children and have 8 grandchildren. They picked Sublette County because of its beauty and the 'down-to-earth people.' Kaddy has worked for over three decades in Healthcare Management and loved the success she had in helping to build successful businesses. She thrives on working with local business owners as the Director of the Chamber of Commerce and is excited to see them succeed and grow in their fields.

The Board of Directors are nominated by and then elected every 2 years by Chamber Members. Terms last for 4 years.
